Nikitha Kambi (8th August 2025)

Kum. Nikitha Swara Kambi began her journey in Bharatanatyam at the tender age of 5, when her mother and Carnatic Music Guru, Smt. Nandini Kambi, encouraged her to begin classes. What started as an initiation into tradition soon grew into a passionate pursuit—a means of expression, discipline, and personal transformation. Nikitha’s training began under Smt. Manasa Mukundan, who instilled within her a strong and lasting foundation in Natyam. She continued learning under Smt. Bhuvana Venkatraman and Sri Chintan Patel at Tejas Dance, where her skills were refined and her stage presence further developed. Her current teacher, Smt. Seema Rao, has been a transformative force in Nikitha’s dance journey. As the guiding light of GVRNKF Dallas, Seema has reignited Nikitha’s passion for dance and molded her into the dancer she is today. Under her tutelage, Nikitha has embraced new challenges, grown as both a dancer and an individual, and prepared for this milestone performance with renewed purpose and clarity. Seema’s compassion, wisdom, and unwavering belief in her
students have played a pivotal role in making this
arangetram a reality.

Nikitha’s dance journey has been marked by character development, cultural exploration, and creative expression. She has participated in numerous performances as a part of GVRNKF Dallas around the DFW area. Notably, she is the first student
to present an arangetram as part of GVRNKF Dallas under Smt. Seema Rao, marking a proud milestone—both personally and for her dance school. For Nikitha, this
arangetram is more than a debut—it is a celebration of years of training,
growth, and a love for dance that have all culminated towards this defining moment, and it serves as the beginning of a lifelong journey in Bharatanatyam.

Nikitha is currently pursuing her undergrad at Purdue University.
